About the Moulin Boursac

The Moulin de Boursac dates back to the 14th century. Initially called the Chabert mill, it was redesigned after the revolution and took advantage of the innovations of the time. It was the only one of the 22 mills in Vence to have a triple function: oil mill, flour mill and spring mill.

In operation until 1960, the Boursac mill has always been part of the history and heritage of Vence. Located 200 metres from the ramparts and the medieval village of Vence, it is a true haven of peace close to all the amenities and tourist attractions of the region.

No one can remain indifferent to this old mill steeped in history, nestled in a landscaped park of nearly 4500 m2 with private parking and heated swimming pool, sheltered from view and lulled by the rustling of the water from its fountain and the Lubiane.

How can you not be won over by its old stones, its vaults, its millstones, its presses and its decanting basins which transport us to another time?

The mill seduces by its allure, its generous volumes and the strength that emanates from it. Built on approximately 500 m2, it offers a main building composed of a spectacular double living room with fireplace and dining area where authenticity, aesthetics and character are invited, a spacious kitchen and a laundry room, close to the millstones and the large water wheels, as well as four superb en suite bedrooms with bathroom/shower, including a master bedroom which opens onto a huge private terrace bathed in light.

At the back, passing through a pretty corridor, there is an annex with a fifth large independent bedroom with bathroom, a dormitory and a vast shaded terrace overlooking a small inner courtyard.

Finally, an independent mazet completes this exceptional property which has a unique and peaceful atmosphere.

Free wifi is available throughout the mill and around the pool. All rooms and common areas are equipped with reversible air conditioning.

Having fallen under the charm of the Boursac mill, we have done our utmost to keep its character and soul, while adapting it to today’s lifestyle. We wish to share with you this extraordinary place that we love so much, in order to keep it alive and to perpetuate its history together.
